National Minimum Wage

The UK Government have announced a rise to the national minimum wage.

The hourly rate for over-21s will rise to £12.71, with workers aged 18-20 seeing a rise to £10.85, and under-18s and apprentices rising to £8 an hour.

Age Rate Payable from 1st April 2026
National Living Wage (21+) £12.71 an hour
18-20 year old £10.85 an hour
Under 18 £8.00 an hour
Apprentice £8.00 an hour
