Hair & Beauty Charity Serves Up First Tennis Tournament

Date 22 Jan 2026

The Hair & Beauty Charity is set to rally the industry together for its inaugural Tennis Tournament.

Taking place on Monday 11 May 2026 at Weybridge Lawn Tennis Club in Surrey, the half-day event promises to cause the right kind of racket, bringing hair and beauty professionals of all abilities together for some friendly competition while raising vital funds for the Charity.

Entry costs just £25 per player, and to keep you fuelled between sets, it includes a delicious picnic lunch, courtesy of event sponsor Salon Vision Ltd.

The mixed doubles tournament will be played in an American format across five clay courts, with a handicap system in place to ensure players of different skill levels can compete on an equal footing. So, whether you’re a seasoned server or novice player, it’s guaranteed to be a fun day.

Commenting on the new event, President of the Hair & Beauty Charity, Jayne Lewis-Orr, said: “Our Tennis Tournament is about bringing people together for a really enjoyable day. Events like this allow us to connect as an industry while raising much-needed funds to support colleagues who are going through difficult times. For a small entry fee, you get a brilliant day out and the chance to make a real difference.”

Places are limited to just 20 players, demand is already heating up, so secure your place today!

Money raised by the event will help the Hair & Beauty Charity continue its vital work supporting hair and beauty professionals and their families when they need it most.
