Paper on the need for Mandatory Registration

Date 06 Dec 2024

We’re delighted to publish a paper submitted by Barber Carl Twidale that he wrote as part of a teaching degree.

Carl started out at 18 as a hairdresser, then decided to move to barbering, where he has been for around 32yrs, previously owning two barbershops, and now establishing a third.

Talking about his paper Carl said “I recently enjoyed and completed a teaching degree, which I would like to further and share my acquired knowledge of the industry with others. Part of my degree was to write a paper, within my field of teaching, so I decided to explore the absence of registration, regulations and laws within the industry. I hope this may assist our industry to become safe, compliant, and professional for all affected.”

The paper is here
