Financial Support for businesses, including the ‘personal care’ sector in Wales

 

The Welsh Government has confirmed that the following financial support will be available to the personal care sector as the country remains at Alert Level 2.

Registration will open via local authority websites from 13 January for an additional £120m of funding designed to support businesses impacted by the spread of Omicron between 13 December 2021 and 14 February 2022.

This will also include a discretionary fund for business and sole traders who do not pay rates.

Business rate payers in Wales will also receive 50% domestic rates relief for the duration of 2022-23.
